Brought in after the architectural elements were complete, we were tasked with transforming this transitional-style home—rooted in a black-and-white palette with white oak accents—into a space that felt personal and complete. While the foundation was monochromatic, the clients had a sophisticated yet playful sensibility, allowing us to introduce bold statement pieces and thoughtful layers of texture.
Troweled plaster in the living room, dramatic black plaster in the dining room, and textured Elitis wallpaper in the foyer brought depth, while furnishings from Kooji, Ochre, Ligne Roset, Holly Hunt, and Roll & Hill ensured both impact and practicality. The result was a home that honored its clean architectural lines while embracing warmth, character, and a touch of unexpected vibrancy.
