This home presented a true challenge to our firm’s skills, as it was purchased in a dated state, yet its grandness, sophistication, and quality were apparent. The client faced a crucial decision: undertake a basic renovation, preserving the home’s foundational elements, or commit to a complete overhaul that would elevate it to a level matching or surpassing its original caliber. Opting for the latter, we gutted the home to its bones, aiming to create a fresher aesthetic while respecting the innate classic architecture.

As we worked to increase ceiling heights and window sizes, we drew inspiration from Rococo-inspired ceiling details and classical wall paneling, while introducing a contemporary color palette and furnishings to keep the space feeling fresh, chic, and in tune with the client’s youthful energy.
